Golden Globes Winners and Nominees Get the Gold From Houston Jewelers, Henderson Design

Golden Globes winners and nominees, celebrities and entertainment icons received the jewelry creations of Houstonian mother and daughter team, Henderson Design, at the 2011 DPA Golden Globes Gifting Suite held at the L’ermitage Hotel in Beverly Hills, January 13-15. Jewelry designers Michele and Whitney Henderson joined a select group of fashion and lifestyle companies to gift their newest necklace and earring creations to industry insiders. The designers’ 24K gold vermeil and precious/semi-precious gemstone necklaces and earrings were selected by Diane Warren, Golden Globe Winner for Best Original Song, as well as nominees Julia Stiles of Dexter and Jacki Weaver of Animal Kingdom. Golden Globe Winner for Boardwalk Empire, Terence Winter, and nominee Dennis Quaid also took home gold for their stylish ladies.
Nominee Jennifer Love Hewitt of The Client List was interviewed by TV Guide (http://bit.ly/dVsxX0) about the DPA Gifting Suite wearing Henderson’s one of a kind faceted garnet gemstone necklace. This year the style was all about creating the most personal look of your choice while layering gold and gemstone strands of various lengths as worn by Julia Stiles. Henderson Design’s exclusive multicolored tourmaline teardrop necklace created a Big Bang for actress Mayim Bialik, while Lisa Vidal of The Event looked fit for the Oval Office in a delicate triple strand necklace of faceted pyrite embellished with 24K vermeil.
Sarah Drew of Grey’s Anatomy walked away with the exotic black spinel double hoop earrings, and wore them straight to the BAFTA Tea Party, showing off the Henderson’s latest look. Other hits from the 2011 Collection were the hammered 24K vermeil hoops and the baroque pearl earrings that Mandalay Pictures President, Cathy Shulman, and actresses Ashley Jones and Lindsay Pulsipher of Trueblood found irresistible.
Men got in on the action too. Terence Winter helped his wife choose a classic pair of dangling gold earrings, and Best Actor Nominee and fellow Texan, Dennis Quaid, helped wife Kimberly choose a specialty necklace with white coral branches encrusted with Swarovski. Mad Men creator Matthew Weiner thoughtfully selected a long hammered vermeil chain necklace for his wife, as did Armie Hammer, star of The Social Network.
Other Hollywood celebs and notables receiving jewelry were Lorraine Bracco, Kate Flannery, Sofia Milos, Izabella Miko, Brenda Vaccaro, LA’s Fox 11 Christine Devine, and others.

Aw, this was a really great post. In theory I’d like to write like this also – taking time and real effort to make a good article… but what can I say… I procrastinate alot and never seem to get something done.
